Most interesting and so informative. Juice brought it all to life. His presentation was fluid, full of energy and sympathetic. I had contact with gypsies when I was young until I was in my twenties and Juice helped me understand these wonderful experiences. Thank you.
This was a really informative workshop that packed in as much information as possible in the time we had. Juice delivered the workshop in an engaging way with clear enthusiasm for sharing his culture with others. It was great to see words that have been loaned by and from Romani and to learn about the richness of a language with many dialects. I would recommend this workshop to anyone who enjoys learning about languages and cultures and anyone who is looking to educate themselves more on Romani culture to better understand a people who face prejudice and discrimination in so many places. Sharing of our cultures is a gift and I am grateful to have been gifted a few hours listening to Juice and Maria share theirs.
This was a real eye opener to the traditions of history, and presented in a very relaxed and fresh manner. Juice is able to explain to many, his interaction is great and without judgement of who is in the room. Certainly worth attending. I will watch the film online.
Amazing and informative. Gave a great insight into Romany culture and prompted deep thought into the treatment of Romany people across the world. There should be more classes to organisations like the council / NHS to explain. to people about the Romany culture and struggles for better understanding to prompt better treatment.
This was a really well put together event that linked so much interesting and important information about the Roma people, who are really hidden from history. I liked the blend of history and culture to the way Roma people live today.
